Yvonne Sue Young, 82, of Clendenin went home to be with the Lord Friday November 30, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Pearl Rhunia White Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband Eugene G. Young; son, Edward Eugene Young; brothers, Calvin, Bob, Orville and Lloyd Jones; sisters, Mary Rose, Iris Rhodes-Woods and Faye Jones. Yvonne attended Clendenin Nazarene Church, Reamer Gospel Tabernacle and Doctors Creek Community Church. She loved to sing and be a part of the service and testify. She is survived by: daughter in law, Brenda Young; sons, Terry (Leslie) Young and Jeffrey (Robin) Young; sisters, Bonnie Strickland and Doris Woods; grandchildren, Brian (Arlena), Jason (Cari), Brandon (Michelle), Travis (Racquel) and Maria (Tyler); great grandchildren, Grant, Evelyn Sue, Monica, Alex, Lilly, Trinity, Fayth, Christyan, Eyston and one on the way. Special thanks to: Jauwanna Hizer, Peggy and Vincent Mitchell for all their love and care. The visitation will be from noon to 2 PM Monday December 3, 2018 at Matics Funeral Home Clendenin. The funeral will immediately follow at 2 PM at the funeral home with Tobby Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park Big Chimney, WV.
