Jessie M. Walker, 91, of Newton, WV went home to be with the Lord Tuesday August 14, 2018 at CAMC Memorial after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Chester Allen Dixon and Georgia Lee Ellis Dixon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses Grant Walker; grandson, Ronald Swiney; great-great granddaughters, Macy Miracle and Addilynn Vance; and daughter in law, Tammy Walker. Jessie was a born again Christian member of Christ Baptist Church Clendenin, WV She is survived by: daughter, Linda Lou Westfall of Milford, Ohio, Brenda Sue Lesher of Walton, WV, Elizabeth Ann Swiney of Spencer, WV and Pamela Kay Hall of Rittman, Ohio; sons, Grant “Bub” Walker of Newton, WV and Jeffrey Allen Walker of Walton, WV; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday August 18, 2018 at Matics Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Swiney officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon to 2 PM at Matics Funeral Home Clendenin, WV. Burial will be 1:00PM Monday August 20, 2018 at Floral Hills Cemetery Sissonville, WV.
