James Arin Carte Worked for Frito Lay as a preventative maintenance mechanic with 22 years of service. James was a loving father and husband and was preceded in death by his father Wirt D. Carte. Survivors include his wife, Jessica Carte and son, Mathew Carte of Matthews, NC and mother, Diana L Carte Hodges, stepfather, Randy Hodges and brother, Dan Carte of Mint Hill, NC. Matics Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. The funeral will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, February 26, 2022 with Pastor Mike Todorovich officiating. A private burial will be at the Conley Family Cemetery at Barren Creek. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm Saturday.
